The Cultural Park of the River Vero, to which Arcusa belongs, is home to around 60 sites where cave paintings of the three classic styles of prehistory in Europe are preserved.
This universal cultural legacy was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998, as part of the «Rock Art of the Mediterranean Arc of the Iberian Peninsula».
